The
Life and Faith Forum is held on Sunday mornings during the academic
year between services in the Bethel Room on the lower level. Topics
for spiritual and social growth are presented. Topics include, music
of faith, other religions, responsible use of earth resources, social
ministries, church history, prayer, aging and sacred art. Presentations
are made by guest experts, fellow members, and videotapes with discussion

here. Lake Nokomis Lutheran offers a number of Bible study and spiritual development opportunities throughout the academic year. Learn more about Bible study opportunities here. Wednesday evenings during the academic year are full of activities for people of all ages. In addition to the choir rehearsals, a number of youth and adult activities are offered. The cozy welcoming environment of the Lake Nokomis Lutheran Church library has many resources to stimulate and enrich your Christian faith. There are materials to inspire, inform, and entertain. The library is located next to the office. It is the first door on the right next to the 50th Street entrance. Librarians are on duty on Sunday mornings. Books may be checked out during the week on a self-serve basis. We invite you to visit the church library often and discover how faith inspired reading can transform your life. Members of the Altar Guild are volunteers who prepare the altar before worship services. They are also responsible for preparing for communion and baptisms. The Altar Guild is an opportunity to use our time to properly prepare our church for worship and thus glorify God.
